I’m pleased to share that LeAnne Rhodes, our current Treasurer, has expressed interest
in serving as ASNA President-Elect. Many of you may already know LeAnne, and for
those who haven’t had the opportunity to meet her, I’ve included her bio below.
An electronic vote will be held on October 30th. Ballots will be sent to all ASNA
members—please watch for yours and submit it promptly so we can proceed with
LeAnne’s installation at our next Board of Directors meeting.

Candidate Bio - LeAnne Rhodes
I am applying for President-Elect of the Arkansas School Nurse Association. I come with
a strong background in school health and a deep commitment to student well-being, I
have dedicated my career to advancing the role of school nurses as essential partners
in education. I am passionate about empowering nurses through professional
development, advocacy, and collaboration to ensure that every child has access to safe,
quality healthcare in the school setting.
As President-Elect, my goal is to strengthen the voice of Arkansas school nurses by
fostering leadership, promoting best practices in student health, and advocating for
policies that support the vital role of school nursing. I am committed to building a
stronger, more connected community of school health professionals who can work
together to improve outcomes for students across the state.
