April 2020

Dear Arkansas School Nurses:

The ASNA Board of Directors met and agreed to cancel the 2020 Arkansas School Nurses Association Summer Conference in Conway due to the national crisis related to COVID-19.

CDC, national leaders, and our Governor all recommend only essential travel, no gatherings of 10 or more and the practice of both social and physical distancing as we tackle this health care emergency.  We are committed, first and foremost, as health care professionals to keeping our families and colleagues safe and healthy for when we are able to resume our daily routines both personal and professional.

Your registration will be refunded in full via check to the address provided. You will be contacted to make sure we send it to the proper address.  Pending registrations have been canceled and if your school was paying by check they will also be refunded. This make take a few weeks. We appreciate your patience with this process.

Any registered attendees must make sure their own hotel room registration is canceled. The Hilton Inn has spoken with us, they have canceled our block of rooms.  They are aware of our conference cancellation. To ensure you are not charged, please call. They are also closed so you may have to leave a voicemail or send them an email.  At this time both the hotel and Expo center is closed indefinitely.

As other items come up we will let you know about them. We looked forward to having a great conference with excellent speakers and CEU’s. We will also post a list of available CE’s for everyone. Please let us know if we can help.
